Thank you for visiting Proceptive Dental, my name is Tony Svoboda and I am also one of the co-founders. My role in the company is CEO & CFO, so I tend to be more numbers and goals oriented. I am most involved in our Sponsored Search Advertising programs. I find keyword discovery, generating targeted search engine traffic and seeing that turn into positive results for our clients and building long term business relationships with our clients very rewarding.

I look forward to helping dentists get more from their websites. I believe that if you have invested in a dental website then you should be using it to increase your business. That means getting more potential patients to visit your site from the search engines as more and more people are using them to search for and find local services like dentists.

I’ve been involved in the Search Engine Optimization & Marketing industry since 1998 and have seen many changes in the industry and the internet in general. I can remember optimizing clients to get rankings in search engines like Alta Vista, Excite, HotBot, Infoseek & Northern Light to name a few. And to see other search engines come onto the scene like Google, and Yahoo & MSN starting their own in house search engines. I have also seen the early beginnings of Paid Search Marketing from companies like GoTo.com, which changed their name to Overture, then was bought up by Yahoo. I also have experience with other pay per click search engines like FindWhat now called Miva, ePilot, GoClick, Kanoodle, 7Search and others over the years. Okay, that makes me sound like an old-timer, an internet veteran if you will. With internet marketing, you have to be flexible and adapt to changes and take advantage of new opportunities as they present themselves.

A little about me. I am 34, soon to be 35, currently single, never married and don’t have any children yet. My personal interests include going to the movies on a regular basis and enjoying TV shows like Stargate, Eureka and other Sci-Fi shows. I like auto racing such as Formula One, Champ Car, American Lemans and other sports car series and like to attend some of the auto racing events that come through Portland. I also enjoy going to Professional Indoor Lacrosse here in Portland. My interest in the Portland Trailblazers has been rekindled since we got the first pick of the nba draft this year and chose Greg Oden (a center), and got some great players last year also, so things are looking up for the Blazers these days. I also like to read business and personal development books.
