It claims that it is the largest and most comprehensive human-edited directory of the Web, which it probably is. The ODP is constructed and maintained by a worldwide community of volunteer editors. These editors are the ones responsible for maintaining the quality of this venerable directory. Oh, and did I forget to mention that it is 100% FREE!

This is a community where every editor has the opportunity to find and add the best sites in their chosen topics. To get your site listed in the JoeAnt directory you have two options; either submit using their $39.99 express review paid option or if you have the time you can sign-up and become a volunteer editor.

You can gain a listing in the Gimpsy directory for a one time review fee of only $40 and if your submission is rejected, they will refund you $20.
